Do you have difficulty concentrating and organizing, and have you been doing so since childhood?
The symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, or AD(H)D for short, can be non-specific and varied in adults, so that the underlying disorder is not always recognized. ADHD manifests itself, for example, through concentration difficulties, thoughtless expressions or actions, and inner restlessness. ADHD does not develop in adulthood, but has existed since childhood. However, it is only diagnosed in childhood in about 25% of adults suffering from ADHD. Learn more in our patient brochure on ADHD.

In our clinic we have the possibility to carry out a guideline-based ADHD diagnosis within two weeks. In addition to the clinical examination and the detailed anamnesis, this includes the implementation of validated psychological procedures and tests. If there is sufficient evidence of an ADHD or ADD diagnosis in adulthood, there is the possibility of adjusting the patient with medication. The choice of medication is made individually and according to the most current guideline. Efficacy and tolerability are continuously evaluated closely under inpatient conditions. At the same time, ADHD-specific behavioral therapy individual interventions take place. For further information, please feel free to contact our experts without obligation.
